Wellness Expo to be Hosted by Jefferson & Madison County Health Departments

In the Monticello area, a wellness expo will be held in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month. The event will feature more than 30 vendors and is organized by the Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee. Administrator Kimberly Allbritton from Jefferson and Madison County discusses the importance of bringing the expo to the area in a video.

The wellness expo aims to raise awareness about colo-rectal health and provide valuable information to the community. The event will offer free health screenings, disaster-preparedness information, giveaways, and more. Attendees can also enjoy free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations by Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

The wellness expo will take place at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, offering a variety of resources and vendors to promote wellness and healthy living.
