Union-Endicott High School’s technology department honored with Program of Excellence Award

The Union-Endicott High School technology department has been recognized with the prestigious New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association Program of Excellence Award. The award, which is one of the highest honors given by the NYSTEA, was presented to teachers Corey Munn, Mike Wichowski, and Tom Palazzo at the annual conference.

The department offers a variety of programs including welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry. Over the past few years, enrollment in these programs has grown significantly. This success can be attributed to the hard work and dedication of the department’s teachers who have worked tirelessly to ensure that their students receive top-quality education in technology and engineering.

Corey Munn expressed his gratitude for the award stating that it was a great honor to be recognized by his peers for all of the hard work put into the program. As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will now represent New York State for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award.

This achievement is a testament to the department’s commitment to providing high-quality education in technology and engineering. The efforts put into the program have not gone unnoticed, and everyone involved should be proud of this prestigious recognition.
