Resource Fair Hosted by Illinois Healthcare Center in Rockford

The summer bash & resource fair, hosted by Aetna Better Health of Illinois at the Booker Washington Center in Rockford, was a huge success. Fifteen organizations participated in the event, showcasing a variety of services to the residents in attendance. The goal was to make the community more aware of the resources available to them and kick off the summer season in Rockford.

The event officials highlighted the importance of bringing together various organizations and highlighting the available resources in the community. Families were able to access resources for their children and potentially discover new programs or opportunities to participate in. Aetna Better Health Illinois Outreach Coordinator Toni Thomas emphasized the significance of providing resources to families in need and helping them find ways to support their children.

The summer bash & resource fair was an excellent opportunity for families to learn more about various organizations and services that could help them improve their lives. By fostering connections and providing information, the event aimed to make a positive impact on the Rockford community.
