OSF HealthCare grieves the passing of system President

Sister Diane Marie McGrew, O.S.F., the president of OSF HealthCare, passed away on Sunday, June 9 after a five-year battle with ovarian and uterine cancers. She was a dedicated leader who joined The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis in 1988 and was appointed as president of OSF HealthCare in 2006. During her time as president, Sister Diane Marie’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to the mission of OSF HealthCare made a lasting impact on the organization.

Sister Judith Ann Duvall, O.S.F., Chairperson of the Boards for OSF HealthCare, encouraged honoring Sister Diane Marie’s memory by rededicating themselves to the Mission and continuing to provide exceptional healthcare with love and dignity. Visitation for Sister Diane Marie will take place at the Motherhouse in East Peoria, Illinois starting on Tuesday, June 11, followed by a funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 12 with burial on the Motherhouse grounds.

Bob Sehring, CEO of OSF HealthCare, praised Sister Diane Marie for guiding the organization through challenges and successes while upholding the vision of providing exceptional healthcare with love and dignity.
