Man cross Baltimore bridge just 3 minutes before its collapse following an argument.

A 95,000-ton container ship crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore on Tuesday morning. The impact led to the collapse of the bridge around 1:30 a.m., resulting in the death of six construction workers. One Baltimore resident, Jayden, narrowly avoided being on the bridge at the time of its collapse.

Jayden had initially planned to stay overnight at his girlfriend’s home on the north side of the river. However, after an argument, he crossed the bridge back home three times in quick succession. On his third attempt, just three minutes later, the bridge collapsed.

The ship collision with the bridge’s supports was identified as a key factor in its collapse. Officials were able to close car traffic across the bridge beforehand thanks to a distress call from the ship. Engineering experts are now analyzing the implications of this tragedy for both shipping and engineering industries.
