Sovereign wealth fund of Norway to Review Investment Policy Connected to Companies in Israel

Recently, the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund, one of the largest investment structures in the world, has announced a review of its investment policy in Israeli and international companies due to the conflict in Gaza Strip. The fund is considering potential violations of its code of ethics and may divest from companies that supply weapons to Israel for use in the region. While the fund is allowed to invest in defense enterprises, it does not invest in those related to nuclear weapons. Previously, the fund had divested from several companies involved in infrastructure projects in occupied territories.
