Sales record reported by Rafael raises defense concerns

In 2023, Rafael reported a record sales of 14 billion shekels, representing a 21% increase from the previous year. The company’s order portfolio is currently valued at 52 billion shekels, with 57% of it coming from foreign customers and 43% from the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Rafael finished out the year with a net profit of NIS 588 million, marking a significant improvement of 17%.

One of the major deals that Rafael completed in 2023 was the sale of the David’s Sling missile defense system to Finland for over one billion shekels. Additionally, the company introduced Sky Sonic, which is the world’s first interceptor missile for supersonic missiles.
