Schloesser Breaks Record for Consecutive Days as World #1 with 1038 Days

Mike Schloesser, also known as Mister Perfect, has become an archery legend by spending 1038 consecutive days ranked number one in the world. This achievement surpasses Sara Lopez’s previous record in the modern era since 2006. Schloesser expressed his gratitude for being able to pursue his passion for archery for a long time and credited his success to focusing on one arrow at a time.

Mike Schloesser began dominating the sport of archery in 2015 after winning the World Archery Championships at just 19 years old. He has continued to impress with podium finishes at the World Championships and victories at the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final. His consistent performance at such a high level is a testament to his skill and determination, making him truly remarkable in a sport of fine margins and fierce competition.

Schloesser’s reign as the world’s number one archer continues, with him accumulating a total of 1758 days in the top spot as of late 2023. His goal is to continue adding more days to his reign while continuing to set new standards for excellence in compound men’s archery.
