Spartans Extend Offer to Three-Star Florida QB Michael Clayton for 2026

Recently, Michigan State University extended a scholarship offer to three-star quarterback Michael Clayton from Sanford, Florida. The prospect is a member of the 2026 class and has garnered interest from several big-time programs.

Clayton, who plays for Seminole High, is ranked as the No. 29 quarterback in 247Sports’ composite rankings for his class. He is also listed as the No. 351 overall prospect. Michigan State is just one of over 20 programs that have offered Clayton a scholarship, including schools like Arkansas, Auburn, Miami (FL), and Virginia Tech.

With interest from a variety of Power Four programs, Clayton has a bright future ahead in collegiate football. On Monday, he announced the offer from the Spartans on social media, adding to the list of prestigious programs vying for his talent.
