Top Name Trumps: Anyone Other than Biden

In the upcoming 2024 US presidential elections, a man from Dallas, Texas who was previously known as Dustin Ebey has announced his intention to run as a candidate. He has legally changed his name to “Literally Anybody Else” and is hoping to tap into the dissatisfaction with the two main candidates, Joe Biden and Donald Trump. By running as an alternative option, he hopes to offer voters a better choice than what they currently have.

In a statement to the Guardian, he expressed his belief that America deserves better than the current options and that individuals like himself who are tired of the power held by the two main parties should have a chance to run for office. He hopes that by running as “Literally Anybody Else,” he can convey the message that there are alternative choices beyond Biden and Trump and serve as a protest against the current political landscape.

To get on the ballot in Texas, he needs to collect 113,000 signatures. However, if this goal is not met, he is encouraging supporters to write “literally anybody else” on their ballots as a symbolic gesture. He firmly believes that America should not be forced to choose between what he describes as the “debt king” and an 81-year-old candidate.

By taking this unconventional approach to his candidacy, “Literally Anybody Else” hopes to spark a conversation about the need for alternative options in politics and provide voters with fresh perspective in upcoming elections.
