Former Citi Execution Sales Specialist Joins LSEG to Expand Business Development Division

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has recently appointed Reesha Radia as a senior manager in business development and sales. Radia, who previously worked at Citibank, will join LSEG in April to bring almost five years of experience in execution sales-focused roles, most recently holding the position of assistant vice president. Her addition to LSEG comes shortly after the new head of secondary markets sales and business development, Richard Worrell, joined the team in January. Worrell, with a background as the former head of EMEA equity trading at Janus Henderson, is beginning a new chapter in his career on the exchange’s side after many years in the buy-side equity trading industry. Together, Radia and Worrell are set to contribute towards the growth and development of LSEG’s business development division.

Prior to her role at Citibank, Radia completed various summer and spring analyst internships at Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan. Her experience in these roles provided her with valuable insights into the financial industry and helped her develop a strong foundation for her future career. With her appointment to LSEG, she is set to continue this trajectory and make a significant contribution to the exchange’s business development efforts.

Worrell’s appointment as head of secondary markets sales and business development marks a major milestone for LSEG as he brings extensive experience in equity trading to his new role. He has worked with some of the largest financial institutions in Europe and has developed deep expertise in areas such as risk management and market analysis. With Radia by his side, he is well-positioned to leverage this knowledge to drive growth for LSEG’s business development division.

Overall, Radia’s appointment represents an exciting opportunity for LSEG as it continues its efforts to expand its operations and grow its presence within the global financial marketplace. With Worrell leading the charge on its business development initiatives, LSEG is poised for continued success in 2021 and beyond.
