Local business leaders featured at ShowMe Leadercast event in Mid-Missouri News

The 10th annual ShowMe Leadercast event is set to feature twelve Columbia business owners, as well as four business speakers and experts in leadership. The event will take place on Wednesday at the Columbia Woodcrest auditorium from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Rory Vaden, David Horsager, Nicole Walters, and Ari Weinzweig are among the nationally-renowned speakers who will cover topics such as goal setting, strong leadership habits, building trust within a team, and visioning. The event organizer, Fred Parry, promises opportunities for audience engagement, door prizes, and games to make the event both informative and engaging.

Parry encourages business owners to bring key staff members to energize them and build a stronger sense of collaboration within their teams. Some local leaders attending the event include Columbia Police Chief Jill Schlude, Boone County Sheriff Dwayne Carey, and UM Board of Curators Chair Robin Wenneker.
