World’s First Cultured Eel Meat Tasting Event Unveiled

Chef Yuval Ben Naria, a culinary consultant for the foodtech incubator The Kitchen, collaborated with Strauss Group’s VP of Business Development and Strategy Elad Komisar on a unique event that showcased the capabilities of their greenhouse. The event took place at Ben Naria’s restaurant and was attended by representatives from the Japanese embassy.

The menu consisted of cultured unagi, cultured katatsu, and Arais, all made with cultured fish meat. The collaboration between The Kitchen and Ben Naria has resulted in significant progress in improving cell lines and recipes for sustainable food production using diverse technologies. Rui Nir, CEO and founder of Forsea from The Kitchen, highlighted the potential of their technology to overcome barriers in the cultured meat industry during the event.

In addition to showcasing their achievements, reviews of different software products were also discussed during the event. Potential buyers considering these products should take note of the warnings and insights provided by attendees.
