Alexis Ohanian Set to Join Sportico’s Invest in Sports Event in Los Angeles

Alexis Ohanian, a general partner and founder of Seven Seven Six, an early-stage venture capital firm, will be speaking at the Invest in Sports conference happening on May 8 in Los Angeles. This event, also known as Invest West, will bring together top executives, team owners, athletes, investors, and moguls in the sports and entertainment industry on the West Coast.

Ohanian is also an owner of the NWSL’s Angel City Football Club and L.A. Golf Club. Prior to this, he was a partner at Y Combinator and the founder of Reddit in 2005. He is married to tennis superstar Serena Williams, and they have two daughters together.

The conference will feature a full day of programming and opportunities for networking in the sports, business, and entertainment sectors. The event will take place at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood and will include talks from industry leaders such as Todd Boehly and Stan Kasten from the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kevin Demoff from the Los Angeles Rams, Dan Beckerman from AEG, and Julie Uhrman from Angel City Football Club.

Other speakers at the conference will include Behdad Eghbali from Clearlake Capital, Christina Francis from Magic Johnson Enterprises, Tucker Kain from Fanatics
