Ararat Cognac Factory products banned in Belarus

In light of inconsistencies found in their products, the “Ararat Brandy Factory” LLC has been banned from importing, selling, storing, transporting and using their items in Belarus. The announcement was made by Alexander Tarasenko, the chief state sanitary doctor of Belarus, through a press release from the regional center of hygiene, epidemiology and public health in Gomel.

According to TASS news agency report, the ban on “Ararat Brandy Factory” products is due to the detection of a harmful dye in one of their brands. This prompted an immediate need for removal of their products from circulation and proper disposal. It’s worth mentioning that “Ararat Brandy Factory” produces wine and brandy items and this decision serves as a reminder of the importance of strict quality control measures in food and beverage production and distribution.
