Randy Gregory is absent from Bucs mandatory minicamp without notice.

Tristan Wirfs, the left tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, arrived at the team’s facility for mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. However, one of his new teammates, edge rusher Randy Gregory, was conspicuously absent from the workout.

During a press conference later that day, head coach Todd Bowles confirmed that Gregory’s absence was unexcused and would be addressed by the team. If Gregory misses the entire session, he could face fines of over $100,000.

Gregory recently signed with the Buccaneers as a free agent in April after playing for the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers last season. He is currently involved in a lawsuit against the NFL and the Broncos regarding fines he received for marijuana use. Despite his absence from minicamp, it remains to be seen how this will impact his standing with the team moving forward.
